MTA Maquira is a calcium silicate-based bioceramic cement with small particle sizes for endodontic applications. It is a system made up of an extremely fine, radiopaque inorganic powder and distilled water which, when they react, form substances that promote the curing of the final mixture.

Indicated for sealing and repairing carious or non-carious lesions in pulp and periradicular tissues, as in the following dental procedures: root perforation (canal and furcation); root perforation due to internal resorption; pulp capping; pulpotomy; apicigenesis; apicification and retroburification.
